Getting ready for CTN has been such a hassle. I am in serious crunch time now, with two trips to California coming up in less than a month in a half. I have nothing to show for myself...
Except this chimpanzee.
I'm trying to 'paint' my characters now, rather than drawing them. I realize though, I am not shapes and patterns, textures, or digital dry brush painting...I am linework. It's always about what the industry wants when it comes to my portfolio but what if who I am is who they want this time around? I intend to have a little of both in my portfolio but I'm wasting time trying to be something that I'm not.
This has been such a 'positive' month so far.
